Behind Melia

Welcome, I’m Millie (@mhnails.beauty), the founder of Melia. 

I began my journey as a nail technician in September 2019. Like most of us, I started by saying “yes” to every design and nail request- even if it wasn’t my style or something I enjoyed. I thought this was what made a successful nail tech: doing it all, keeping everyone happy. 

But over time, that approach only led to burnout. 

Over the last year I’ve taken a step back to reflect on my style as a nail artist- to figure out what it is I truly love doing.  I very quickly realised that nail art wasn’t my thing, but I still wanted to create nails that were fun, creative and unique. Not just a standard block colour. 

Thats when the cateye obsession took off and I fell back in love with creating nails. And the vision for Melia began to develop. 

Melia is for the nail techs who love to create, but don’t love spending hours on intricate art. With our products you can design fun and unique nails without the faff.  

Giving you the tools and techniques to create looks that are effortless. Using products that inspire new designs without being overwhelming. It is our mission to bring back passion to the nail desk- with products that are easy to master and efficient for busy nail techs.
